This solution had to be fully integrated into the Careem app, ensuring a smooth user experience. Introducing the Eco-Friendly Ride (EFR)
CarbonSifr and Careem launched the Eco-Friendly Ride (EFR) option in Dubai during COP28. This ride type offers the same convenience as Careem’s popular Comfort ride but with the added benefit of carbon removal for an extra AED 1 for every 20 km traveled.

The solution is completely seamless. The EFR option is fully embedded in the Careem app, allowing customers to order as they would any other ride, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
